INNTERACT at the Polymers and Medical Applications conference

The Innteract Project was represented at the 14th edition of the Polymers and Medical Applications conference organised by Leartiker, a key forum where the health R&D&I ecosystem gathered to share knowledge and explore future challenges.

During the event, which focused on the latest advances in tissue engineering, Innteract played a prominent role in the presentation delivered by Ainhoa Irastorza from Biogipuzkoa, a member of the consortium.

In her presentation entitled “Some key aspects for the clinical implementation of advanced therapies”, Irastorza introduced this European collaborative initiative, which promotes the transfer of innovation from healthcare research to the industrial sector. To this end, he presented the medical devices we are working on as part of this project, carrying out usability studies and pre-clinical trials with the aim of bringing them to market with confidence.

She also presented TissueNet, the strategic cross-border network in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine that will be created within the POCTEFA area to foster collaboration, knowledge exchange and competitiveness within the ecosystem.

Events like this highlight the importance of connecting research, industry and clinical practice to accelerate the adoption of advanced therapies.
